Simply mango chutney zipped up with a bit of ginger and chili. Sweet and spicy at the same time- a delicious combination. Use as traditional mango chutney. Mango chutneys are made in homes throughout India; the recipe varies depending on local ingredients and the spices used. Ours contains chunky pieces of mango with sugar for sweetness and the added tang of ginger, clove, pepper, and chilies - still a sweet chutney but with very mild hotness for added interest.
Coriander leaves are the main ingredient, adding spinach leaves will give a nice green color to the Sandwich Chutney. along with this, it will also make chutney healthy and more tasty. one can also add mint leaves, but it can make your chutney look dark in color, so I prefer adding mint leaves only if the green chutney is going to be consumed on the same day. you can make this chutney and store in your freezer in an airtight container for up to a month.
