    2.5 cup desiccated coconut powder
    1 cup sweetened condensed milk or milkmaid
    ⅓ teaspoon cardamom powder
    1 tablespoon ghee
    3 tablespoon desiccated coconut


    • Heat ghee in a thick-bottomed kadai over medium heat.
    • Melt the ghee over a low flame.
    • On a low heat, add the desiccated coconut powder to the same pan.
    • Combine the two and sauté for a minute.
    • Next, add the condensed milk and thoroughly combine.
    • Continue to sauté the mixture until it begins to leave the sides of the pan.
    • When it begins to leave the sides, turn off the heat and add the cardamom powder.
    • While the mixture cools, spread out the desiccated coconut on a plate.
    • When the mixture has cooled sufficiently, use a spoon to make ladoos of any size you desire.
    • Chill the ladoos after coating them with desiccated coconut.
